At Frankly Speaking Studios, music doesn’t start with loops or beats. It starts with a story — usually mine. A feeling. A contradiction. A question whispered to the ceiling of a 258-square-foot RV parked in a gravel or Walmart lot somewhere between grief and reinvention.
From there, we shape a lyric. But it’s not enough to say what we feel. We have to ask it the right way. That’s where the prompt begins.
Every line I write gets filtered through tone, intention, tempo, and genre – the heartbeat of musical expression. Is this heartbreak acoustic or defiant funk? Is this truth whispered or shouted through a bullhorn made of saxophones and desert wind?
The result: a prompt that does what all good songs should do. It asks, then listens first.
Then comes the AI.
We use tools like VO3, ElevenLabs, and custom voice blends to bring the track alive. But those tools don’t work unless the prompts do. The creative labor isn’t replaced — it’s redirected and deepened by the maestro.
We’re not here to ask AI for magic. We’re here to teach it to sing our story.
