Solo Again, and Not Alone: Four Weeks to Launch
Posted on Older Than Average – Tabula Rasa RV Tour
Four weeks out.
I’m sitting here in my RV, coffee in hand, listening to the final mix of Solo Again, and the thought crosses my mind: How did I get here?
The truth? Obsessive persistence—and neuroplasticity.
I’ve spent the last six months preparing not just my RV but my mind, body, and spirit for the Tabula Rasa RV Tour. And now, with four weeks to launch, I’ve got a lot of miles behind me… and a lot of road ahead.
Here’s what I’ve checked off the list so far:
✅ Permanent mailing address with forwarding through UPS (no fixed address doesn’t mean no mail).
✅ Banks and credit card addresses updated (they still want their money).
✅ Medical and prescription access across North America (Thank you, US Army—although getting drafted right out of high school left its scars).
✅ RV sites booked—Michigan this spring, The Villages by January 2026.
✅ Vehicles inspected, licensed, and ready to roll.
✅ Last Will revised.
✅ Daily habits for nourishment, personal care, exercise, and Yoga locked in.
✅ My neuroplasticity goals are on track, rewiring my brain for happiness and curiosity.
✅ Five books read in three months (and I’m starting on #6).
✅ Completed the Prompt Engineering course at Vanderbilt (AI, meet RV).
✅ Wrote the screenplay Who’s the Real Director (Life imitates art. Or is it the other way around?)
✅ Designed and built two websites: OlderThanAverage.com for the Tabula Rasa Tour, and WhosTheRealDirector.com.
✅ Created 15 original songs about this journey, including my newest release, Solo Again—a gritty, mid-beat country rock anthem for all of us rolling stones.
✅ Posted 66+ updates across Facebook, IG, and LinkedIn (Some even went viral… or at least caught Aunt Barb’s attention).
✅ 15 blog posts crafted for Rapidgo Inc. and Older Than Average.
✅ Designed a credit card statement analysis flowchart (yeah, I’m a little nerdy like that).
✅ Managed and dispatched for Rapidgo, boosting profits and cutting expenses.
✅ Explored raw emotions through journal notes and songs about starting all over again—my Tabula Rasa moment.
🎶 Solo Again
This new track is my barroom anthem for everyone who’s dared to let go and hit the road. Think driving acoustic and electric guitars, a steady drumbeat, and vocals with some lived-in swagger.
